The "Summary" tab lets you look at your search engine referrals and web-site usage over time. The graphs are great for demonstrating trends over time. You can combine data by day, week, month, etc. and look at the interacting of 7 and 30 day moving averages. This gives you a real sense of how you are faring in the search engines and how your overall traffic is relative to that. Statistics are available to show you if your web-site is improving. It gives you a relative feel for how your average hits, unique visitors, search referrals and other web-site metrics are trending.
The "Top Referrals" tab shows keywords and your position in the engines from your customers point of view. You can optimize your web-pages knowing that the page rankings are accurate. Find the terms that are easily moved from the search results on page 2 to page 1 where over 85% of search activity is. Trends are plotted over time and you can group terms that are alike.
